Happy Birthday to me: A Wishlist

Last year I did a birthday wish list, which was so successful in annoying everyone that I thought I should do it again.
First on the list has to be: Shel's newest book. Now I know what you are thinking since Shel passed a few years back, but these are all previously unpublished poems by the man himself. The other items are pretty straightforward. Their might be some repeats from last year, but those are because I am still waiting for someone to give them to me! Here goes:
Every Thing On It (by Shel Siverstein)
tights or stockings
fireworks (ehem Max)
sailboat
fall puzzle
a tent
dinner at the cottage
cross country skis and boots
new bike :( - preferably from the jerk who stole my old one
subscription to Vanity Fair magazine
ticket to War Horse (ask Justin if you are confused)
fun stationary
flowers
a hug or kiss!
Origins Ginger Bath Scrub

A humble wish list

In no particular order:
Body Lotion from Origins
or
Ginger Body Scrub also from Origins
hugs
a gift certificate to lululemon
or
Victoria's Secret
nail polish
gift certificate to Mountain Equipment Co-op
cute socks - preferably fall themed
puzzle - also preferably fall themed
fiction - classic or contemporary (lenders would be lovely)
Help buying blouses - I am really bad with tops. And I have none. None that are sexy, not that are casual, none that go with anything.
A glass of nice wine at sunset
A cottage- preferably in the Kawartha's so The Connor Cottage will be nearby.
a card
kisses

Happy Birthday to Me Nuit.
After work last Thursday Oct 1st., Crystal and I had plans to go for a bike ride, but we scratched that because the sky was threatening. Instead we went for a glass of wine at her and Cameron's place. Well it quickly turned into a party complete with dinner and...

o is that a yam in your pocket?...

and I got to spend the night! Thanks for the pj's Crystal.

I wasn't really feeling up for the all night art party, but Paul and I really wanted to see the Jeff Koons in the Eaton's Centre

And then on Saturday night Justin and I went to the theatre to see "The Boy in the Photograph," the new Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. It was aight, but that is a story for another blog.
After the show we went to MTK to check out some of the art for Nuit Blanche, and have a few drinks. Paul also arrived from New York and we knew we wanted to meet up with him.

It's my party
When I was in junior high school my two best friends, Josha and Nancy, and I did this song in our school talent show. We were the bomb, we learned all the harmonies and we went to Haight street to get vintage dresses for our costumes. My mum did all of our hair, we were fierce. We were the best number in the show, I was remember that today - my birthday because this is a great self indulgent song, and frankly it is my party and I will cry if I want to
