The Nail Olympics

The sixth annual Nail Olympics was held in Britain last week. Check out the article from the Daily Mail.

Insane!
Thanks Mahban.

NO. Absolutamente no!

There cannot be something called San Francisco by the Bay, in Pickering. That is totally breaking the rules. Does San Francisco know about this?

A humble wish list

In no particular order:

Body Lotion from Origins

or
Victoria's Secret

nail polish

gift certificate to Mountain Equipment Co-op

cute socks - preferably fall themed

puzzle - also preferably fall themed

Help buying blouses - I am really bad with tops. And I have none. None that are sexy, not that are casual, none that go with anything.

A glass of nice wine at sunset

My New Obsession...

for a whole host of reasons. But I imagine feeling uncomfortably sweaty could keep you from connecting with people in a meaningful way. Hell, maybe even from connecting with people in superficial ways too. Without Degree Clinical Protection this girl might have ended up without any social grace, alone and muttering to her cat.

You know what'll cure that hangover Jemma?

Washing your face, obviously.

Let's all go to the wine pump

In an effort to cut down on packaging, and cost, the French have started installing wine pumps at grocery stores. Amazing. Do you think I can get one for my place?

Wear the Pants

Saw the new Dockers ad while watching the Saints and Minnesota game. The newest instalment of the wear the pants campaign isn't available online yet. But, it definitely got my attention. So I went in search of it and found this instead. Most will recognize it from the Super Bowl. But it is new to me, you'll have to forgive me because we don't get the commercials during the Super Bowl up here in Canada. And I was in Asia. I do love wear the pant. Great tag line. Keep your eyes out for the new one, and send it to me if you find it online.

Due South - What a great intro.

I never really appreciated it before, but the theme from Due South is amazing. It's a well played ad for Canadian hospitality. Very, "hi, look at our property. And tall men with dogs."

New - Keith's Hold True

I sometimes think that beer ads are harder than one might expect. They have become so formulaic that ninety percent of them are exactly the same, you know gratuitous boobs shots. Not very original. But I am into this one.

O No - Devastating

Rich Cronin, of LFO passed away at the young age of 35. Knowing LFO is never going to tour again is like being constantly tortured.
