New Fierce Nails

I have been wearing my nails natural since the summertime because, as many of you know, I did manual labour all summer. And while it would have been fierce to have had inch long acrylics while landscaping I resisted the urge. But the last few days I have been feeling nostalgic about glamorous nails, so I went on a google search* for fierce nails. And I found Saphira Pink. She is a YouTube diva, with a love for nails. Check out her most recent video and then check her other videos out on YouTube. She's made me think it might be time to go in for a set.

* I was amazed to learn that if you google fierce nails I am the first two hits to come up. Now if only I could figure out a way to become that popular outside the world of diva nails

Desiree Rogers is the Fiercest Bitch in the White House

This is not the first I have heard of Ms. Rogers - Barrrack's new Social Secretary, (by the way does anyone know of any of the other Social Secretaries offhand? I didn't think so.) Paul mentioned her to me several weeks back. First of all, look at her nails - impeccable. Also she is a fierce black diva with a Harvard MBA. Yes ma'am. And she is a closet Republican and gave 2,000 to the Bush campaign. And amazingly I think that is fierce. But all of that is nothing compared to the fact that she is sitting next to Anna Wintour at New York Fashion Week. Go 'head girl, I would love for the White House to be glamorous again. I mean I know that Barrrack needs to project a stoic and pragmatic image in the face of certain current challenges. But this woman is the Social Secretary and she is doing her job. So let's not get all uppity. Ms. Rogers is so far the best thing I have seen in the Obama White House. Well and this, but Obama can't take credit for The District. I wish that Desiree could also be the Press Secretary, since Alexyss K. Tylor wasn't available, but sadly we all have to listen to Bobby instead.

I posted this, because it might have been easy to miss Lohan's fierce nails, what with the desperate cry for help that is so obvious in this particular photo. Anyway the lezzies got in a fight while coke-walking to their hotel in NYC last night, shocking I know.

I have been feeling guilty ever since I posted the pics of Lady Gaga's unfortunate face. So yesterday I went searching for pictures of her fierce nails. And let me tell you they are fierce.

Me - Fierce Nails

I love to shout out other people with amazing nails. But sometimes you have to throw modesty to the wind and shout out yourself. So here they are my amazing nails of '08.

Most of the time when I get them done it is for Northern Yonge related events. Like our August concert called Sex on Dundas.

I could not find a very good/flattering photo of this set, but I called these the cottage french, because I wore them up to Lauren's cottage. They were light pink with brown french tips. And this particular photo is from Paul's goodbye/hand-over celebration. Whiskey Sours anyone?

O, at the Collie Buddz show at Circa. Such a disappointing night, but we did learn about the magic of Pussy Juice. Don't ask.
