The only decent St. Patrick's Day marketing I've seen.
I will still be at home, studying. But hats off to Guinness, this ad is actually endearing.

Charitable Giving Gets a Beautiful Nod in Norway
Tears.
The blonde is asks him if he has a coat. He says, "it was stolen."
Later she asks him what school he goes to and who is meeting him as she offers him her sweater.

Worn Wear: A Film About the Stories we Wear
My good friend Kelly posted this short film that Patagonia published this past November for Black Friday. I really appreciate the message and also the stories. Great branding.

Obsessed: Benefit Cosmetics
When I stopped working in an office environment a few years ag, my makeup use significantly declined. However, a bike accident this summer, which resulted in a small scar above my right eye, and a new school year made me take stock of my collection and realize that I needed a few new products. I've been a MAC devotee for years but while travelling I was reintroduced to Benefit Cosmetics. I have been super happy with everything I got so I thought I would share it with y'all.
Primer has become a fad of late in the makeup world, but I have to say it makes a huge difference in the skin's quality and makeup's longevity. I've been using the Benefit primer "that girl" which creates an even and brighter looking complexion. I've also been using the eye primer "Stay, Don't Stray." Because of the scar on my eye having a primer that keeps my concealer working all day is a must. Plus both of these products are light and airy and make my skin soft and supple.

The "Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow!" Foundations are a step up from tinted moisturizer but are still lighter than traditional foundations. The liquid creates a smooth and light finish that doesn't look greasy and blends well. Plus they all come with SPF 30, which should be required for foundations these days.
For my fair complexion the "Dandelion" blush is perfection.
I also bought "Hoola" to use as all over blush. It's a little dark, and I am not sure if it really stacks up against Mac's Golden Bronzer, but it is pretty great, and smells divine!
Perhaps the best product at Benefit is the "they're Real." mascara. You'll need a good eye makeup remover to take it off, but it is amazing, and makes your eyelashes look crazy long and full.
And of course...

Finger-nose stylus for touchscreen technology from Dominic Wilcox on Vimeo.
Might also be good on the bicycle, although that nose thing might interfere with breathing.

"Dramatization. Filmed with lash inserts."
Wait, what? Beyonce's eyelashes are not naturally bejeweled? Prove it biatches. And who is that other yappie bitch? She needs to go.
Beyonce is bringing it with her unfalsifiable lashes, hawking the Double Extend Eye Illuminator Mascara. For Loreal

Fianlly

Sexy Period Panties. Great another opportunity to sexify a basic bodily function that is NOT sexy.
PS. "chocolate indulgence time," better be about actual chocolate, cause that's questionable as a marketing angle.
Thanks Maureen, you are always looking out.
