Kelowna

Thanks for this one Ash, before heading to work.

Even in BC I'm still ...

on my grind..

Little Mexico, where Ash and I work

Lauren's room, where I have to keep my clothes

Peachland Property

The KDT team have been working on this place since last summer! You can't tell, from the photos, but there are five switch-backs. I didn't know I was working on Lombardi Street. Seriously, when they arrived what you are looking at was a dirt hillside.

Isn't that a sweet dock? And I really like the paver-stone, even though I know how much work that must have been. I got to help lay the sod!

And I drilled a bunch of the siding on that deck. That's right, I drilled. Thank you e.T.c. for all that set construction experience; you kept me from looking like a total girl at work.

Landscaping is only the half of it ...

Kelowna Property

The "PCL" sight. Google it. Property.

I am gonna try and get a few more shots Monday if I am still on sight. I want to be discreet of course... And in my haste I got the below shot, quite by accident.

I would also like to point out my fierce, Fierce, nails, considering I picked weeds with my bare hands for the better part of fourteen hours yesterday and today.

Yeah that's how they do.

Giants, Dodgers best rivalry of all times

Check out this article. Forbes recently wrote an article about the best sports rivalries in history. And despite the obvious rivalry of the Yankees and Red Sox, Forbes chose the Giants and Dodgers as the best baseball rivalry. As a life long Giants fan, who used to attend 20 plus games a season when I lived in San Francisco, I can remember the intensity of Giants/Dodgers series. And I remember that that rivalry solidified my love of baseball, and sports more generally. Go Giants Go.

Shots from the road ...

You can't know how badly I ache to tell you everything there is to tell, but instead I will leave you with the first of the shots from the road. These are only a few, (ones that don't need to go through a session with Paint.) But they should whet your appetite for us and our travels. And, I miss you, and think of you.

And we're on our way

I love the distortion from the windshield and the dash, it makes this spooky, abandoned, Ontario farm all the more alluring.

At Pine Crest. Lauren and Ashley's camp from back in the day. Sharif and Dave played host to us for the first night of our adventure.

And the following morning we head out West, past innumerable ice covered lakes.

And passing trains

Our camp site on Lake Superior

Look at this and tell me you don't want to winter camp. P.S. it was freezing, and we left a sleeping bag at Pine Crest. Opps

Sweetest Robin's ever, in Atikokan, Ontario. O yea it took three days to get out of Ontario.
Lauren looking sweet in Ashley's Honda jacket. On our way to the Peg

At the Forks. Check out the flooding in Winnipeg

The bathrooms at the Royal Albert, downtown Winnipeg.

Heading West

Prairies

Look at that sky.

I love this one so much. So you'll probably see it again, once I have a chance to edit it. It was the best example of the trains in the Prairies.

Look, there's Rhonda. She made it to Alberta

Last night in Calgary

And we're back on the road, through Banff.

We've made it to Kelowna, and I will be sure to get shots of the house and neighborhood. It's super cute. Today we arrived and put on our bathing suits, for an early season tan session.
