Somewhere over the rainbow - in Vaughan

I have been rehearsing for Mambo Italiano, which is running at the Vaughan Playhouse for three weeks. The show is gonna be really good, I am very impressed. I am also very tired

Frank and Phil, the lead actors, goofing off between scenes. These two are always up to no good. I'm constantly babysitting, but usually just laughing

Thank God Emily lent me her car, here is the rainbow that accompanied me home. It's a long way back to Toronto form Vaughan, luckily I am going against traffic. And today I had the rainbow out in front the whole way.
If anyone is interested in seeing the show. I can get half-off day of tickets, and matinees may be pay what you can. If you want to go let me know, and you can ride up with me.

Stand up to Cancer

So I don't know if anyone watched the Networks' Cancer Fundraiser last night, i assume if you watch network TV than you did. I missed it, but I thought I would post this original song with all of the current divas in it, from last night. Literally everyone, even Lady Gaga (who knew she'd made it?!) Anyway, I always love charity collaborations like this because it's all about the divas trying to out do one another without being too obvious. Poor Miley sounds dreadful, maybe that wasn't the best part for her? It's for a good cause and I'm pretty sure we all either have, or will be touched by Cancer, so take a listen, and tell me who rocks the diva standoff?

Wall-e for real

I loved Wall-E just as much as the next guy, but does anyone else see a problem here? First Big Dog and now these guys. If you don't remember Big Dog, you can go back to some of my earliest posts, it is terrifying. These little guys aren't as big, but their ability to think for themselves is definitely scary.

The Invisible Man

I know it's not as flashy as the other convention footage, but it matters to me. And what can you say, that is 98 degrees people.

Mccain and Candy

I don't agree with his politics, but Mccain ended strong in my opinion. The "ask not..." mantra resonates with my ideas about civic action. Anyway skip to 3:15 and watch the next 40 seconds or so. At first I thought Johnny Boy and Candy were fighting, but now I think it's foreplay. If someone would script their banter I would be such a happy puppy.

It's nice but I'd rather a Richter sailboat

Art collector Dakis Joannou, had Jeff Koons design a yacht for him.

It's no balloon dog but it'll do.

If you get drunk you'll find it funny

They don't mention her drug addiction, wonder why not?

Cindy may be a pretty face, but boy is she a bad public speaker. It was paiful to watch her last night. Max and I tried, and if we had not been accompanied by our good friend Vino Magnum we would not have made it. Her thank you at the beginning is priceless though.
