A Fashion Tribute to L'Wren Scott

A collection of some of my favourite L'Wren looks over the years.  Such a sad loss.  She was an amazing designer and the fashion world will miss her

Dayum...

Khloe is givin' me real 12th grade FYAH!  I have been feelin' Khloe a lot recently;  she's definitely thinspiration. And good on her for staying "mostly" classy during a tough time for her.  But this look is going far...

Fallspirations

This fall I'm seeing a lot of material mixes.  I love the juxtaposition of fur (faux or otherwise) and the army jacket.  Plus rocking boot and a demure handbag, make this outfit not only fun to look at but fun to wear too.
While this look might at first glance seem a little bland the beauty is in the details and the understated elegance.  Love the ballet pink pumps and the cobalt blue purse.  They give this otherwise simple business casual look a bit of flare.  (That pink is going to be everywhere)
The shapes created here are really doing it for me. That long coat is to die for.  And the looser cut is very reminiscent of the 40's. Love the nod to men's wear happening in the soft and feminine palette.

Crop tops are everywhere right now.  And I like the playfulness of this sweater version.  Tartan pants and chunky shoes give this an updated 90's vibe.  Perfect, for before the weather turns.  And that sweater will transition to winter if worn over a fitted dress or a long sheath.
Here's another casually chic look this season, featuring the same silhouette of relaxed, but form fitted elegance.  The slouchy sweater jacket paired with the fitted jeans and narrow boots takes this look above and beyond.  And so comfy too! Plus love the hair.

I'm very into the Kardashians these days! Look out for a new art series coming to the blog this fall called Kardashians with takeout salads.  But I digress, here's Kim and Khloe rocking the seasons most beautiful neutral - PINK!  Khloe's hair is perfection, while Kim's is taking me a while to get used to.  But that skirt and the coat and dress below are Gorg!

Oh thank you Anna

Kudos to Paul for finding this.  Anna Dello Russo for those who don't know is the Editor at Large for Vogue Japan.  She also contributes to Vogue Italia and obviously is extremely talented.

Definitely, take a bow

God, it is just too good. Karl Lagerfeld's favourite boy toy Baptiste Giabiconi's is a whole 'nother level of Shitney. So glad the boys can play this game.

Desiree Rogers is the Fiercest Bitch in the White House

This is not the first I have heard of Ms. Rogers - Barrrack's new Social Secretary, (by the way does anyone know of any of the other Social Secretaries offhand? I didn't think so.) Paul mentioned her to me several weeks back. First of all, look at her nails - impeccable. Also she is a fierce black diva with a Harvard MBA. Yes ma'am. And she is a closet Republican and gave 2,000 to the Bush campaign. And amazingly I think that is fierce. But all of that is nothing compared to the fact that she is sitting next to Anna Wintour at New York Fashion Week. Go 'head girl, I would love for the White House to be glamorous again. I mean I know that Barrrack needs to project a stoic and pragmatic image in the face of certain current challenges. But this woman is the Social Secretary and she is doing her job. So let's not get all uppity. Ms. Rogers is so far the best thing I have seen in the Obama White House. Well and this, but Obama can't take credit for The District. I wish that Desiree could also be the Press Secretary, since Alexyss K. Tylor wasn't available, but sadly we all have to listen to Bobby instead.

Don't worry Gibbs nobody is clapping here.

Sex on Dundas

here are some of the shots that riot creative took for the Northern Yonge show at the Chelsea Room a few weeks back.

I had to put the low res shots up, because the others were to big, and blogger kept crashing.

I think they look great anyway.

Thank you so much to Fashion Crimes - who dressed me. The link for their blog is under my property advisors section. Take a moment to check them out.

And thanks again to Riot Creative - their website is www.riotcreative.com
